Facing a Marijuana Charge in Moorestown, NJ

Facing a marijuana charge in New Jersey can be frightening, especially if you’ve never been arrested before in your life. That’s why you need an experienced criminal defense attorney by your side the entire length of the way, from the minute you are arrested to arraignment to discussions with the prosecutor assigned to your case.

If you are facing a marijuana charge you need to have a trusted defense attorney handle your case. Even though it seems as though the way marijuana charges are handled in New Jersey will be changing, you should still be careful with how you handle your case. There’s no reason to fight these charges alone. Trying your hand at the law right now is not in your best interest.

When you speak with an experienced attorney about the marijuana charge you need to be completely honest with them about the incident that led to your arrest. This will help the attorney provide you with an honest evaluation of your case so that you are not surprised by the sentencing you receive if convicted of the crime.

Be sure to answer all of the questions the attorney has, offer the names of any witnesses of the incident that led to your arrest, provide an alibi for yourself the day of the reported crime and any other information the attorney can use to their benefit for your case.
